this past friday we were lucky enough to attend the 25th anniversary of the indianapolis symphony orchestra's yulletide celebration. it was andrew's work christmas party and it was fabulous. a cocktail hour, full catered sit-down dinner, musical performance, and then desserts and cordials to end the evening. it was the prefect grand finale to our busy week.

the theatre is located on the circle in downtown indy.
seeing les and dazzle was a pleasant surprise during the yuletide celebration. a father/daughter magician team, their family has been in the business of illusion for over four generations. they took their magic back to the timeless 1930's and '40's era and performed 'milk in a light bulb', a vanish/reappear of a duck, 'twister', 'strip cabinet', and a crazy new interpretation of the classic 'zombie.' truly entertaining!

on saturday, we celebrated christmas round 1 with my side of the family at my sister's house.
she and i cooked the food, and she and maddie did cookies the day prior. we exchanged gifts and spent the day and evening together.
many many more christmasy things to come!
